折[Ori]ginate

I usually worked at my shop, but since COVID became popular, I’ve been working from home more days.It’s the same today.

Let me introduce you to my artwork!

This is all made of traditional Japanese paper called 和紙[Washi].

The theme of this artwork is to create a new culture while cherishing Japanese tradition.

I’m inspired by a Kabuki play.

Do you know origami, a traditional Japanese Play?It’s made of origami skill.

And using the character for fold from 折り紙[origami], I named it 折[ori]ginate, meaning the beginning of a new culture.
